Thanksgiving & Christmas Closures
Historically, Panda Express stood out among fast-food chains as one of the few open on major public holidays. However, in recent years, corporate policies shifted to show support for the employees, introducing company-wide closures on both Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
While the vast majority of street-side and corporate-owned locations close completely on these two days, exceptions exist for non-traditional outlets in high-traffic settings:
- Airport Locations: Stores inside busy international hubs (such as LAX or JFK) often remain operational under modified schedules.
- Travel Plazas & Service Plazas: Turnpikes and highway rest areas often mandate that dining options remain open to accommodate holiday travelers.
- Casinos: Locations inside major casino complexes (such as Las Vegas strips) usually continue serving 365 days a year.
